About Reading

Reading is an interaction with the words, where you (as reader) contribute with your previous knowledge and the text with the current information. Allowing an enrichment of new information which modify all what you already know and let you learn, reflect, create, imagine. Reading is to enter in another world, live another life, learn from another person. Reading gives you another view, knowledge, reflection about what happens in this world.

  1. I remember when you were writing your definition and I see how the main ideas and concepts linger in your comment. It's really beautiful.

  2. When you say that reading is a interaction with the words, I would like that you developpe the idea because is it an interaction between the words and...? could be just with the reader, but with the reader knwoledge or with the reader aptitude to analyze, etc.

  3. well, first I used "words" like symbol ("the power of the words") of a text or the information you find in it. when I said interaction with the reader I meant all the reader can be or has, not only his knowledge or aptitude but his whole being ...U know...all the reader is... as human being, as critic person, as citizen, as student, as professional... with his all experiences, his dreams, even his previous readings. Because in reading we activate all thath' things and that let us understand and have comprehension of the text we're reading.
