Every act of reading engages the brain superior functions to produce significative knowledge and knowledge gives us the opportunity to enter to many dimensions where we can decide whether or not to be ourselves in our thoughts. we not only read words but also sign.

The meaning of reading
For most people, reading can be understood as a simple action that involves learning to pronounce words; others could say learning to read means learning to identify words and get their meaning. Even there is a few bunch of people who thinks "reading" means learning to bring meaning to a tex in order to get meaning from it. All these definitions have one word in common, "meaning". it's true that the term "reading" can be ambigous due to the many activitives that relate to this word. In that sense maybe Computers could "read" a program or animals could "read" the environment conditions for hunting. However, they act without thinking about this action, they don't realize or aren't aware of this process. For that reason for me "reading" is the notion in which you put actions and procedures of analysis and comprehension together to make sense of a text and only humans are aware of this notion.
About reading
I think reading is an activity in which we can find individual and collective meanings about the universe in which we are involved.
When we read we are making a connection with a product of someone else's imagination, a connection with mankind thoughts.
Reading implies to be part of the construction of our reality, our identity as individuals and as community. The act of reading stimulates the wonderful power of our imagination and motivates the movement across forever, towards the comprehension of our presence here.

Reading
Reading is to decode a text but at the same time to comprehend it, that means to find sense in it. It's to be conscious of the fact that every word has both a meaning and a reason to be in a sentence. Reading becomes pleasing when we have a certain acquired level of learning in our language. The best of reading is that it provides us with knowledge and ability to be analytic, allows us to imagine, to know the ideas of other people, and to bear different points of view.

What's reading?
What’s reading ?
It’s not just an issue of passing the eyes through a bunch of very organized symbols which are linked each others in order to make sense and create meaning. Reading is much more than that. It’s a process that involves many different aspects such as; the personal experience, the transformation of identity, the flexibility of meaning and the desire of knowledge.
If we start from the fact that every single person has a different affective history that has been developed through his/ her different stages of life, it can be said that reading is the reflection of all personal experiences. Another important aspect of reading is the transformation of identity -this doesn’t mean that a page which is full of words is going to change completely your way of thinking or behavior-, what reading really means - is that thanks to it- people can be conscious of the realities of our daily life. So that, it gives us the opportunity to think critically, take a position and then act regarding the society problems. Furthermore, reading goes beyond the frontiers of certain linguistic aspects (rules) such as morphology, syntax or semantics. -For instance, when readers break these “rules” in order to understand and reach the sense of a text, it is quite well demonstrated the desire of knowledge in all its expression-

Reading for knowledge
Reading for knowledge.
In order to built a purpose for knowledge acquisition and understanding, reading is a complex process that involves decoding and analysing some symbols that are written, in order to give sense and meaning to what we read.
Taking in account this idea, reading is also a way for knowledge transmition, a way to get in contact with new worlds, new people, new cultures and of course with new points of view that are going to question yours, all of these is closely related to knowledge production even if it is oral or writen.

What's reading for me...
Reading is more than decode a set of signs, it's to understand what the author wants to impart you. Reading is an activity that must be done carefully, because every sentence has an internal meaning and an especific purpose. You have to know that the author doesn't write just for fun, he has a goal and it could be to persuade the reader or to give him a new point of view.

what is reading?
Reading is more than read simple words. Is to go beyond reality. Is to build meaning from writing, gesture and all those communication´s ways.
The author has a purpose and an intention, that could be expositive, argumentative, descriptive or narrative. Sometimes with a clear message, but mostly is codified, What force us to apply our own knowledge and experiences to decode it.
Reading let us travel through the other people´s thought. That could be exciting, romantic, crazy and all those things are prosecute and interpret by our minds from the author´s mind. All those things accompanied by a little touche of our own experiences, are going to help us to create new others, which are going to contribute in our identity development.

What's reading?
Reading is more than follow some words orally or mentally. The procces of reading involves the reader in a complex activity in which he must try to identify what's the author wants to say. The author uses a series of aspects (mophological, syntactic, semantic, pragmatic, etc). With a purpose, he uses these kind of aspects to lead his intentions of persuade or dissuade an idea or a point of view that he considers , and what the reader must do , it's to identify those purposes, decoding the text as a unity. Also I consider writing is a veicle of culture and every time we read , we are trying to understand what a text is representing for a certain people , so that's the reason why I think that when we read, we read a culture.
Also reading is to identify a culture
Also reading is to identify a culture

What is Reading ...
Reading is more than following a sequence of words correctly written in order to express an idea. Reading invite us to "own" those words and to dialogue -bilaterally- with them in an exchange of experiences, knowledge and history; it provide us the opportunity to bring into the world those words in a meaningful approach. Reading is to escape from the reality to the world of words, where a word is a world by itself.
