Reading for knowledge.
In order to built a purpose for knowledge acquisition and understanding, reading is a complex process that involves decoding and analysing some symbols that are written, in order to give sense and meaning to what we read.
Taking in account this idea, reading is also a way for knowledge transmition, a way to get in contact with new worlds, new people, new cultures and of course with new points of view that are going to question yours, all of these is closely related to knowledge production even if it is oral or writen.

Hi Jhon, I can see there are interesting ideas in your definition. But they are difficult to follow as it is very long for a sentence. Can you try to rewrite it in at least three sentences?
ReplyDeleteI like yr paragraph dude(it is short and "sustancioso")...
ReplyDeleteBut remember that U can't link all the sentences with only commas ok...
Hi Alex, i really liked this expression u used "knowledge transmition", i think is pretty cool and implies that we are learning from the world not only in an academic sense but also by every day experiences... i think it is something we all want to do when reading.
